Day 1: Saigon arrival
Upon landing in Ho Chi Minh City, you will receive a welcome ceremony and meet up with your tour leader who will escort your trip thoughout the country. Transfer to your Park Hyatt hotel. Free time for leisure. Tonight, we have a welcome dinner on Saigon river cruise. Overnight in Saigon. ( Dinner included )
Day 2: Sightseeing Saigon
After breakfast at your hotel, follow our guide to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. Located about 60 kms from Saigon city, Cu Chi is must see place for travelers in Saigon. Cu Chi charms people through the history of theVietnam war more than 30 years ago. This educational tour around the tunnel area by our tour guide will let you understand Vietnamese people better while listening to war stories that you will have never heard before will make your day. Back to Saigon for light lunch. Visit busy China Town in District 5 and War Museum before concluding your trip by dropping by the Ben Thanh market. Day 3: Saigon - Hoian World Heritage
A short morning flight takes you to Da Nang today. Another 40 minute transfer to Hoian where we are going to spend 2 nights. After lunch at Banana Leaf on Thu Bon riverside, we explore Hoian old town. Visit the Japanese covered bridge to understand part of cultural exchange a few hundred years ago, visit Phuc Kien assembly hall to find out how Hoian has been sucessful and visit the ancient house of Tan Ky to see how Hoian people live and enjoy their peaceful life. End this Heritage Walking Tour by wandering through the Hoian cloth market for your own tailor shopping. Dinner at Cargo Ship restaurant. Overnight in one of the most luxurious resorts: Golden Sand Resort Hoian. ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included )
Day 4: Hoian - Cooking class
Food in Vietnam is always greatly remembered; Hoian food is the highlight. Today is a day of local food, not only enjoy eating it but also to make it for yourself. Morning free for your shopping. Afternoon, follow a Hoian famous chef for ingredient shopping in the Hoian market; each Vietnamese ingredient has its own story and healthy purpose. Our chef will explain in detail the whole things for you. Transfer back to the chef's house and the fun part of the cooking class begins. Everyone will have their own recipes after this class to ensure you are actually able to cook when you get back home. Dinner is your own arrangement tonight as people may have other shopping around town to do. Overnight in Hoian. ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included )
Day 5: Hoian - Hue - Unique experience
Morning free to explore your resort's private beach in Hoian. After lunch, we head up north to Hue city by private transport. This stunning route may be the most beautiful drive in Vietnam, reaching the Hai Van cloudy pass where we must stop for taking photos. Another stop at Lang Co resort beach for refeshment before we arrive in Hue. This scenic drive takes about 4 hours. Free time upon arrival. Tonight is a special night, royal dining will be arranged on a boat while cruising along Hue's famous Perfume River accompanied by live band of traditional Hue music. Overnight in Imperial 5 star Hotel in Hue. ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included )
Day 6: Hue - Active day
After breakfast, we gather in front of the hotel where our tour leader is available for some biking tips in Vietnam. After all, we are off to the Hue countryside on your own bicycle! Visit incense making village, Tu Duc tomb and Thien An hill. Lunch today is in Tu Hieu pagoda with buddhist monks. Good experience - cultural exchange with the people here. Some word art is also displayed here for sightseeing. Back to Hue city by riding along Perfume River to get to the Forbidden City of Hue which was once the residence of the King and his nobles . 13 Vietnamese Kings had lived here until 1945. Rest of the long history will be told by your tour guide. Back to your hotel. Dinner tonight has another option of western meal at Imperial Hotel. Day 7: Hue - Hanoi Capital
Breakfast at your hotel before transfer to Phu Bai airport to take a short flight to Hanoi. Transfer to Sofitel Metropole hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure until the water puppet show at night. Dinner in Forest restaurant on the outskirts of Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi. ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included )
Day 8: Hanoi City tour.
Hanoi is a city of lakes and parks; people wake up early to excercise around the lake. Experience local life by joining a Tai Chi class with some local people in the morning at Hoan Kiem Lake. Back to your hotel for breakfast and prepare for Hanoi city tour. City tour of Hanoi today includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, Ethnology museum. Discover Hanoi's old quarter by Xich Lo (Cyclo). Back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi. ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included ).
Day 9: Hanoi - Halong bay - Natural World Heritage
Morning departure for Halong Bay. 4 hours drive gets us into the Red River Delta. Stop on the way for photos, agriculture sightseeing. Visit Hong Ngoc humanity centre and raise money for disabled chirldren. Arrive in Halong. We get our welcome drinks while meeting with our Captain on board. Sail to Halong Bay while fresh seafood lunch is ready. Enjoy your wine on the top desk while viewing Halong's unique scenery. Cruise today takes you around famous sites of Halong such as Fighting Chicken rocks, Lonely Islet, floating fishing villages...Anchor as the sun sets. Dinner and overnight on your private boat. Day 10: Halong - Hanoi
Visit Luon cave by rowing boat in the morning. After breakfast, we cruise to different part of Halong - Bai Tu Long where the legend is still fresh around here about dragons and their children descending into the sea. Lunch is served on the boat before docking back at Halong pier. Transfer to Hanoi. Farewell dinner with our tour leader. Overnight in Hanoi. ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included )
Day 11: Hanoi departure
Today is a sad day when we have to say goodbye to our tour leader. Exchange your contact details and get a free transfer to Noi Bai airport for your flight home. ( Breakfast included )
